Maggie Dix
President

Maggie is thrilled to be the President of this organization, which has been her dream since the first project show in 2018. She believes that theatre is a beautiful and collaborative art that demands passion, skill, and determination. Maggie graduated from Aurora University with a B.A. in Theatre in 2024 and will use her working knowledge of technical theatre and administrative theatre to provide a creative space for all theatre artists. 

Christina velazquez
Vice president

With a deep-rooted love for theatre and art, Christina has dedicated her life to creativity and expression. Grateful for the friendships and memories it has brought her, she is honored to be able to share her passion.  

Sara Dix
SECRETARY

​Sara is ecstatic to join the Theatre319 board in its inaugural season. A passionate advocate for the arts, she is always excited to explore new ways to build community and connect people through art and creativity. Sara currently serves as the Vice President of the Lyric Young Professionals Board at Lyric Opera of Chicago, the American Opera Society of Chicago Board, and as the Reflections Chair for her son's school PTSA. 

Chris dix
Treasurer

Chris has been involved with this organization since the beginning. In his position as the treasurer, he provides his experience currently as a detailed and caring real estate broker and previously as the young entrepreneur of an industrial service company. Chris is excited to watch Theatre 319 grow within the community. He is a loving father and avid animal lover. He would like to honor his late best paw friend, Jasper.
